Basics of Skin Care
Acne: 1. Avoid fried and fatty foods 2. daily probiotic yogurt 3. Substitute almond butter for peanut butter 4. Avoid whole milk products and substitute with low-fat skin milk and cheeses. Fatty foods contain hormones that stimulate your sebaceous oil glands. Peanuts molecularly resemble hormones and can also stimulate your sebaceous oil glands,however,.you can substitute nut butter for peanut butter.
Cleansing: 1. Promote healthy skin cell turnover time by removing dead skin cells with glycolic / salicylic acid wash using a soft natural bristle brush or facial sponge. 2. Exercise to promote sweating and hot baths or saunas to open the skin’s pores ridding itself of environmental toxins.
Moisturization: 1. Drink at least four glasses of water daily for hydration. 2. Restore the natural water barrier of the skin with sunflower seed oil and ceramides. 3. Restore the structural function of the skin with low molecular weight Hyaluronic acid ( retains 100% of it's weight with water ) and Retinol stimulating collagen production and elasticity.
